Moataz El-Helaly is currently an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the American University in Cairo (AUC) School of Business. Previously he was an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Olayan School of Business (OSB), American University of Beirut, and at the British University in Egypt (BUE). He also worked as a Lecturer Assistant at the German University in Cairo.

 

He was awarded the PhD Degree in 2014 from Aston Business School, UK. He has wide experience in teaching different Accounting courses like Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Auditing, Advanced Auditing, Taxation, Financial Reporting and Analysis, Intermediate Accounting, and Advanced Accounting. He is also an Associate Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy (AFHEA). He is also a certified Management and Business Educator. and certified in International Financial Reporting (CertIFR) from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

 

He also had excellent experience in online instruction. He taught online courses at the American University in Cairo and the American University in Beirut. He also delivered MOOC on reputable e-learning platforms. He attended courses and workshops in online teaching and online teaching skills in University of New South Wales, Arizona State University and the American University in Cairo.
